JOB SUMMARY
A Guest Service Leader (GSL) is one of the key contact points for our Guests’ Signature Shakey’s® experience. A GSL is responsible for always providing enthusiastic, friendly Shakey’s® Signature Service to each Guest, generating sales, housekeeping, cash register operations (POS) and accurate cash handling.
Summary of Essential Duties

Demonstrate Fun, Integrity, Empowerment and Respect at all times. |

Ensure that each Guest receives outstanding Signature Service by providing a friendly environment including, smiling, welcoming and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other parts of Signature Service whether in person or interacting with a Guest on the telephone. |

Make immediate decisions when Guest assistance is needed and make suggestions to the Guest for a complete Shakey’s® experience. |

Maintain a solid knowledge of all product information, product promotions, test products and advertisements. |
| • |
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary workstation at all times, including replenishing supplies (glassware, napkins, etc.), cleaning counters and POS monitors, etc. |

Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary lobby and/or restaurant areas. |
| • |
Comply with ServSafe™ practices with regard to personal cleanliness and food handling. |
| • |
Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers. |

Adhere to all company policies, procedures and practices including pricing and discounting. |
| • |
Communicate Guest requests to Manager on Duty, as needed. |

Any additional duties, as assigned. |
Qualifications and Experience
| • |
Minimum 1-2 years restaurant/retail experience, preferred. |

Outstanding Guest-focused approach to each Guest interaction. |

Ability to read and speak English, preferred. |

Basic 10-key and counting skills. |

High energy and enthusiasm. |

Education
| • |
HS diploma or GED completed (or in progress) required. |
| • |
Some college, preferred. |
